In this class you will be introduced to the basics of glass bead making using a suped up bunsen burner (duel fuel lampworking torch) to melt rods of coloured glass to then form small beads. The techniques involved in the melting of the glass rods will be demonstrated for you by the tutors before you create your own beads. You will experiment will several different decoration techniques, and after the beads are cooled overnight you will be able to collect your own bracelet of hand made beads.
Over 16yrs only please.
Due to the nature of our material dogs and children will not be allowed inside our gazebo area. Sorry.
